Dr.
Nichols
was raised
in
Morrill,
a
rural
northeastern
Kansas
community.
He
is
the
third
of
four
children
and
has
always
enjoyed
physical
activity
as
well
as
outdoor
adventure.
A
high
school
back
injury
was
the
initial
reason
Dr.
Nichols
was
introduced
to
chiropractic
and
this
opportunity
opened
the
door
to
the
comprehensive
world
of
care
that
chiropractic
offers.
In
1997,
Dr.
Nichols
carried
on
a
family
tradition
and
became
a
true
wildcat
when
he
enrolled
at
Kansas
State
University
for
his
undergraduate
education.
After
four
great
years
in
Manhattan
he
completed
his
pre-requisite
courses
and
was
accepted
to
Palmer
College
of
Chiropractic,
the
founding
institution
and
fountainhead
of
the
profession,
in
Davenport,
Iowa.
Throughout
his
education
at
Palmer,
Dr.
Nichols
was
actively
involved
in
the
chiropractic
specialty
known
as
Chiropractic
Biophysics®
(CBP®)
which
is
the
most
advanced,
scientifically
proven
method
available
to
naturally
correct
structural
abnormalities
of
the
spine.
Having
completed
the
required
postdoctoral
courses
and
examination,
Dr.
Nichols
became
a
certified
Chiropractic
Biophysics®
specialist
during
his
final
year
at
Palmer
College.
In
October
2004
Dr.
Nichols
graduated
magna
cum
laude
and
Valedictorian
of
his
class
of
205
students.
After
graduation
he
began
pursuing
further
education
and
in
March
2005
became
a
Certified
Strength
and
Conditioning
Specialist®
(CSCS®)
through
the
National
Strength
and
Conditioning
Association.
This
specialty
allows
Dr.
Nichols
to
educate
and
train
patients
of
all
ages
and
activity
levels
in
the
field
of
fitness,
physical
wellness
and
nutrition.
Dr.
Nichols
has
been
married
to
his
wife
Shawn,
since
December
2002. They enjoy
many
outdoor
activities
including
mountain
biking,
camping,
hiking
and
skiing.
They
also
have
a
great
appreciation
for
physical
fitness
and
enjoy
daily
workouts
at
the
gym. Jarrod
and
Shawn enjoy
being
back
in
Manhattan
as
it
allows
them
to
spend
more
time
with
family
and
friends.

He

specialized
CBP
evaluations
and
computerized
spinal
correction
